This is a large part of CRT. There are sessions that touch on some aspect of Valve & Structural all four days.
On Saturday, tracks include CRT Valve Complications, CRT Valve Imaging, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure Workshop and MitraClip Workshop. These sessions include case presentations on transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) complications and management, imaging the mitral and aortic valves, how to develop a successful LAA closure program and how to start and run a successful mitral valve center.
Sunday shifts to CRT Valve Mitral and CRT Valve Tricuspid. Sessions include Valve and Structural Heart for the Surgeon, basics of the mitral valve, and the latest on research into the tricuspid valve.
On Monday, the focus is on the aortic valve, with two courses devoted to it. Sessions include the surgeon’s view of the valve and structural heart revolution, the state of TAVR and percutaneous mitral valve repair and replacement, how to select patients for TAVR vs. surgical aortic valve replacement, cerebral embolic protection devices, and prevention and management of complications.
Tuesday wraps up with CRT Valve and Structural Innovations, highlighting the latest in this growing field.
